For the 12th straight year, Dr. Alberta was an invited faculty member at the New England Shoulder and Elbow Society (NESES) Annual Meeting in Jay Peak, Vermont this past weekend. He served on both shoulder and elbow panels and discussed topics such as shoulder instability, tennis elbow, Tommy John surgery and shoulder replacement with the best and brightest surgeons in New England, as well as invited guests lecturers from around the world. This year Dr. Ettore Taverna, a specialist in shoulder instability from Milan, Italy was the international guest lecturer joining a “who’s who” list of shoulder and elbow all-stars from around the world. Dr. Mark Frankle from Tampa, FL and Dr. Mark Cohen from Chicago, participated as invited guests for the shoulder and elbow sections, respectively.
Dr. Alberta helped develop the society in 2003 and has served as a board member since then. He has served on the faculty at the meeting every year since its inception. NESES has grown to over 400 hundred members with a record turnout of 135 surgeons, PA’s and therapists attending the 2015 meeting. You can learn more about the NESES at www.neses.com.
